A poem called life.

Life.
Ain't that easy. It's a struggle to live.
There are way too many ups and downs, a path that we all need to face.
Hurdles, obstacles.
Sometimes, I even wonder to myself..then what's the point of life and living?
The world ain't fair...some people, in rare cases..gets the perfect life, whereas some, gets a disastrous life.
But then again, we all need to keep going and move on.
Here, is a poem of life. Although common as it may sound, it has a deeper meaning to it.

At first portion of life,
We found faith, hope and trust,
We take dignity and pride,
In our daily routines and task.

When we were younger,
Our parents took the responsibility,
Some knew who were their mother and father,
Some, just ended up a pity.

We children just listened and play,
Life was still empty and easy back then,
Our parents just warned us to stay,
We even made friends and castle in the sand,

As primary touched our life,
Our parents took us to school,
Until when we reached standard five,
We started our journey like we had a clue.

We heard all frustration and anger from our parents,
And we're wondering what went wrong,
They start fixing us with chores and errands,
It all felt like the days went so long.

Secondary life then came upon,
We made more friends and went to school,
We opened up our minds from smoking to porn,
Being all in love, like we'd think its cool.

We fight for our freedom and voice,
All the teenage rebelliousness and rage,
All we did was making noise,
Our peer pressure puts us in danger stage.

As secondary life was about to end,
We wave goodbye to lovers and memories,
Mistakes are all left behind, can't be mend,
It's time to move on with life, with bigger risk.

The time of our lives stood tall,
We had fights, arguments and even depression,
We were on the verge, about to fall,
Things were so full of heavy tension.

Next in line, came the University life,
When we realized how much our parents sacrificed,
This was it, end of form five,
No more fights and silly lies.

We step into a whole new chapter,
Some found love, some found trouble,
We knew we became someone better,
However, someone burst our bubble.

We balanced on exams, assignments, and love,
We still had fun and entertainment,
When stress sometimes gets on your nerve,
There are still many things we had to learn.

As we mature and step into adulthood,
We look back at our journey and see clearer,
We then learn what is bad and what is good,
We take a big leap, as the future comes nearer.

We start working to pay for our own things,
We loved our parents and try not to burden them,
We had our puppy love, crush, lovers and even flings,
We take a good look, and have our own stand.

Life is now completely in our own hands,
Problems to settle, commitments to handle,
Faith to decide, choosing only one side.
Trust to gain, and promises to keep,
Can one person handle, such a big leap?

As life becomes more tough,
When you are all alone, making decisions that could fail,
When the road get's really rough,
Hoping that somebody's life that you could steal,

And when we make wrong choices,
We fall on deeper things,
We had to put on different faces,
When failure all life brings.

Nothing comes easy, Life is a circle we  must face.
Heart breaks, tears, drama, commitment, choices, decisions, planning.
This..is..life..
And life..is tough.
