I have always loved drawing dresses since young (Confession)..Although being afraid to tell people that..but yeah.. When I was younger, I always admire fashion historians and famous fashion trademarkers. Those who really made it to the top like Karl Lagerfeld, Donatella Versace, Christian Lacroix and what not.. There are too many to even start with and remember.
However, this would be my first posting about fashion..Don't know why I never thought of it when I love it. Some of my favourite brands would be Hermes, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Diane Von Furstenberg.
Gowns are in this season..well it's almost end of the year...Getting sooo ecstatic looking at these gowns and dresses from Designer labels. Shall take a look on what will look hot this December. (Although none I can even afford :P Feeding the eye gives me more than enough.
Theme for December: Black, and because black matches everything and anything :) Black is also my favourite colour and a classy colour as well.
Chiffon halter-neck gown by Alexander McQueen. Most of his runway clothings are kinda bizarre. But of course this dress above is very wearable and unique, classy and feminine at the same time. It has a slight feel of the Egyptian Goddess side.
Toga-Shoulder draped gown by Bottega Veneta. Looks awesomely elegant and classy without baring too much skin. So, for the conservative ones, this number would fit. The gown drapes perfectly, looking symmetrical.
Asymmetric Crepe, one-shoulder evening dress by Carven. No not carven Ong :)This is for someone who is looking out of the box. The way the dress drapes around the shoulder with two layer ain't that common.
Sexy bare-middle cocktail dress by Roberto Cavalli. Suitable for dinners and even cocktail parties. This number suits the tigress :) Baring in the middle, flowy bottom with awesome pleats goes very stunningly with girls hips.
Half-Quarter wrap dress with gold-sling by one of my favourite fashion designers, Diane Von Furstenberg. This goes elegantly chic with whatever colours and looks simple as well. No frills kinda dress, works well in formal occasions.
Something more lacy and body hugging, the lace bustier gown by Dolce & Gabbana. You can't go wrong with Dolce & Gabbana because their dresses are awesome. This also glides through elegantly, wave curving to sculpture a woman's body perfectly. However, I suggest that pear-shaped body woman won't be suitable in this.
For the more edgy- ones, this knee length with gold-chains dress from Gucci would complement your looks. A little more rock-star kinda elegance.
For something more cuter and chic, This lace sleeveless tulle panneling dress from Red Valentino spells it all. More for the cocktail and casual occasion.
This cut-out crepe dress by Zac Posen has to be one of my favourite above all. There is a little rocky and edgy element bout this dress. Suitable for formal occasions as well.
That's it! Shall continue about other teams soon. If you love to play with fashion, do log on to Lookbook, its fun! You get to create your own styles.
