Distance & Spaces between us.

I lay down on the cushion grass,

Put my arms on my head,

Thinking about time, moving so fast,

"Time waits for no one", he said.

Staring at the moon and the stars,

Thinking as if they're talking to me,

I've had a million heartache and scars,

But I heard God whispered "Let it be".

If life were made a game,

Then the game, we have to play,

People are all the same,

Some trust, some betray.

Not wanting to look at the time,

As the night starts to get colder,

There is something I wanted to find,

To first lay my head on your shoulder.

I wanted to live a simple life,

Away from the city, away from the town,

Everything seems so hard to strive,

But in a remote place, isn't it easier to reach the crown?

The trees all looked the same,

Some were awfully old,

But they always remained tame,

Standing through hot and cold.

As I looked next to me,

I stared at empty air,

I wonder..where could you possibly be?

Not next to me, cause the world ain't fair.

There were no shoulders to lean,

At times when I needed you the most,

I know you're planning a future, never seen,

Being in your heart sometimes, made me felt close.

Love is a struggle, love is beautiful,

But when the feeling ties in,

Everything seems so wonderful,

Like a miracle I have never seen.

I know you are not always here,

Once a while makes us stronger,

For I have nothing much to fear,

The future will become greater.

I have stopped thinking,

It is time to walk home

Although my heart is sinking,

Knowing that I'm all alone.

I wave goodbye to the trees, the stars, the moon,

Tuck into my blanket, not forgetting to pray,

The flowers will begin to bloom,

Because I know I'll see you someday :)
